1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using TaskTimer Plus ("the App"), developed by JTR Labs ("we," "us," "our"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects any changes.
2. Free to Use — No Subscription
TaskTimer Plus is free to download and use. There is no subscription, no premium tier, no in-app purchases, and no trial period that converts to a paid plan. All features described in the App and on its website are available at no cost.
We reserve the right to introduce optional paid features in a future version, but any existing free functionality will remain free.
3. License to Use
Subject to these terms, JTR Labs grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes on your mobile device.
You may not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Distribute, resell, sublicense, or transfer the App to any third party
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to extract the App's source code, algorithms, or assets
- Modify or create derivative works based on the App
4. No Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted operation.
While we aim for reliable timer accuracy, system-level factors such as device power-saving modes, OS restrictions on background processes, and notification delivery delays are outside our control and may affect timer behavior. We make no guarantee that timers will fire at precisely the configured time in all conditions.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, JTR Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App, including but not limited to damages resulting from a timer not firing at the expected time, missed notifications, or device compatibility issues.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App, which is zero.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these terms. You will not use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the App or interfere with any other party's use of their own devices or software.
7. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in courts of competent jurisdiction, as applicable under applicable law.
8. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. We may terminate or suspend access to the App at our discretion for conduct that violates these terms or is harmful to users, us, or third parties.
9. Changes to the App
We may update, modify, or discontinue the App or any of its features at any time without prior notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the App.
