Terms of Service

In short: ZatBack is a rewards app, not a bank or investment product. You are responsible for your wallet keys. Rewards can change, expire, or be reversed for fraud or partner reversals. By using ZatBack, you agree to these Terms.

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and JTR Labs LLC (“JTR Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your access to and use of the ZatBack mobile application (the “App”), the publisher materials at jtrlabs.com/zatback, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

By creating an account, downloading the App, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country, if higher) and able to form a binding contract. You may not use the Services if you are barred under applicable law or if we have previously suspended your account.

Some features (partner offers, games, or on-chain activity) may not be available in all regions. You are responsible for compliance with local laws, including rules related to digital assets, rewards, and gambling-like mechanics where applicable.

3. The Services

3.1 Rewards program

ZatBack lets users earn zats, in-app reward units shown with approximate Zcash ($ZEC) equivalents. Zats may be earned through merchant cashback offers, game quests, daily spin, weekly vault drops, streaks, referrals, and promotional programs we offer from time to time.

Unless we state otherwise in writing, zats in your in-app balance are promotional ledger credits, not deposited funds, securities, or e-money. Displayed $ZEC values are estimates for convenience and may use third-party price feeds.

3.2 Partner shopping and games

When you follow a tracked link to a partner merchant or complete a game offer, you also agree to that partner’s terms, privacy policy, and purchase rules. We do not control partner inventory, pricing, shipping, returns, or chargebacks. Cashback and quest rewards may remain pending until partners confirm qualifying activity and may be reversed if an order is canceled, refunded, or deemed fraudulent.

3.3 Non-custodial wallet

Optional wallet features are non-custodial. Your seed phrase and private keys are stored on your device. JTR Labs cannot recover lost seeds, reverse mistaken on-chain transactions, or access your funds. You alone are responsible for backups and security.

Moving value on the Zcash network requires network fees and is subject to blockchain confirmation times and protocol rules outside our control.

4. Account

You may sign in as a guest or through supported providers (e.g., Apple or Google). You agree to provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use bots, scripts, emulators, or fraud to inflate rewards or referrals
  • Create multiple accounts to abuse promotions or referral bonuses
  • Misrepresent clicks, installs, or purchases to partners or to us
  • Interfere with the Services, probe vulnerabilities, or reverse engineer the App except where law permits
  • Use the Services for unlawful purposes, money laundering, or sanctions evasion
  • Harass others or upload malware through support channels

We may investigate suspected abuse and withhold, adjust, or reverse rewards, or suspend or terminate accounts, with or without notice where permitted by law.

6. Referrals

Referral programs grant bonuses only when eligible new users join through your valid code and meet program rules. We may change referral amounts, caps, or eligibility. Self-referrals and artificial sign-ups are prohibited.

7. Intellectual property

The App, ZatBack name, logos, design, and content are owned by JTR Labs LLC or licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

8. Third-party services

The Services integrate or link to third parties (merchants, affiliate networks, game providers, Apple, Google, blockchain infrastructure). Your use of those services is at your own risk and subject to their terms. JTR Labs is not responsible for third-party acts or omissions.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JTR LABS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Not financial advice. Nothing in the Services constitutes investment, tax, or legal advice. Cryptocurrency and $ZEC values are volatile. Past reward rates do not guarantee future results. Consult qualified professionals before financial decisions.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, specific reward amounts, partner availability, or error-free operation.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JTR LABS LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND CONTRACTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR DIGITAL ASSETS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) USD $100 OR (B) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO JTR LABS FOR THE SERVICES IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (IF ANY).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

11. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless JTR Labs from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.

12. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for any violation of these Terms, risk to the Services, or legal requirement. Upon termination, your license ends. Provisions that by nature should survive (disclaimers, liability limits, dispute resolution) will survive.

Termination does not automatically delete on-chain assets you control. In-app ledger balances may be forfeited if your account is closed for abuse, subject to applicable law.

13. Changes

We may modify the Services or these Terms. We will post updated Terms on this page with a revised date. Material changes may be communicated in the App. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance, unless law requires otherwise.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except that mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence may still apply.

Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Services will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there, unless applicable law requires a different forum.

Before filing suit, you agree to contact us at [email protected] and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.

15. App stores

If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store or Google Play, those platforms’ terms also apply. Apple and Google are not parties to these Terms and are not responsible for the App or our support obligations, except as required by their store policies.
